GURUJI’S BIRTHDAY
Swami Paramananda was born on 25th December 1954 at a small Village named Krishnadebpur, District Burdwan, West Bengal. Paramananda Mission celebrates 25th December every year as his Birthday. Initially this birthday celebration took place in Azimgang, Mursidabad, which is now moved to Banagram. About fifty thousand people come here in that day to take the blessing. On 25th, the day starts with Morning Prayer followed by annual sports activity by the Mission students. In the night Baul songs make a beautiful environment and that continue through the night.
There are other Special occasions such as Guru Purnima, Sivaratri, Holi Utsav etc. also being celebrated here by the mission. Nevertheless, you will feel the utsab everyday when you came here, i.e. providing the service to the needy people which is remarkable.
